2. What is the goal of this website? Our ultimate goal is to identify businesses and organizations who voluntarily offer working conditions, wages and benefits that allow individuals and families to thrive in our community. Because it is much harder to verify working conditions, we have chosen to begin by focusing on wages and key benefits. We have come up with a series of wage and benefit criteria that we believe should help move us toward a sustainable community in which all individuals and families have the resources to meet their basic needs. Our goal is to identify companies that voluntarily meet these criteria so that we can give them our business. |
